Cristina Ortiz has created what is possibly her best collection to date for Salvatore Ferragamo. The designer paid special attention to tailoring, creating a stylish forties look in fascinating reddish tones.
Passionate and sensuous details abound, like the quintessentially feminine roses worn around the neck. Her artesan tailoring unveils balanced proportions, layers and intricate shoes.
For this emblematic new line, the brand collaborated with the expertise of photographer Mario Testino. He brought a number of models, including Maria Carla Boscono, to an elegant and cold urban park - the ideal setting for these saturated red tones.
